sorority ranking (updated) - they are all good
by: My Ranking
Top Houses (They are ALL really really good at TCU though) / Not listed in ANY particular order (so don’t hate):
Zeta- Mostly Texans but overall ok, 6th best GPA on campus, good parties
ADPI - very good parties, girls from all-over, 3rd best GPA on campus, overall good.
Pi phi- Lots of Californians and East Coast girls, like to party, cute, a good house, but a bottom tier GPA
Chi omega- #1 GPA on campus, also I think they tend to be more religious than other houses (but that is a judgement call), but really really good group.
Middle / Upper (as I say none of them are “bad” / they are all excellent at TCU) / Not listed in ANY particular order
DG- pretty and overall nice, lower tier GPA, but good group of girls.
Kappa- A bit cliquey, and not too into academic (2nd lowest GPA on campus), but good group and have nice parties.
Theta- Academic, 2nd best GPA on campus, not as good of parties as some of the others, but overall very good and very involved on campus
Sigma Kappa- Good parties, 4th highest GPA on campus, overall good and also girls from all over the US.
Tri Delta- Lots of Texas Girls, unfortunately lowest GPA on campus, fun / nice but not as academic.
Alpha Chi - good house, 4th best GPA on campus, girls from all over which makes them kind of cool and well rounded.
Gamma Phi - lower tier GPA, but very nice girls from all over the US, really outstanding.
Phi Mu- Very good group, lower tier GPA, but good house.
AoPi- These girls are up and coming, struggling a bit because they are on the newer side, but very nice girls and really good attitude. They have a lot to offer.
We need to support each other girls!! EVERY group is outstanding!!!
Bottom - Really there are no “bottom tier” houses at TCU. They are all good. Certainly “Classifying” makes people feel better about “their” group. The reality is that all these girls and groups are top notch and the difference between Middle and Top on this ranking is really a breath and not a big deal. I saw one poll here where they talked about “racial” mix of the sororities. Really? What century is this??? The good news is that, at TCU, there is a group for everyone. Everyone has their own “criteria” for ranking. A girl could get into any one of these houses and have a blast. Go Frogs!!

You are welcome to rank any way you want and that is what this site is about. But, this is the rudest and most ridiculing post I’ve seen on here. To comment “lower tier gpa” and they aren’t “very academic” is so condescending. The difference between top and bottom is .2. And every group is above a 3.3 so no one in the Greek community is struggling academically. I’m tired of seeing gpa as a measure of worth. Some people at TCU have learning disabilities and work very hard for a 3.3. To imply that I don’t care or I’m not very academic is insulting and rude. FYI: pretty sure employers aren't going to pick one person over the other due to a .2 difference. I’d rather hire someone with a strong work ethic and strong character than a rude, snobby one with a “top tier gpa”.
