Lists and rankings are cute and all, but they mean nothing. PNM's aren't stupid, they're just freshmen, and even they can see through what is happening on this site. Let's be honest though the only people looking a this site right now are other sorority members and it will be forgotten about by finals. People would respect the Greek community more if we respected each other. Every house is different and there is no logical argument that can be made to call one better than the other. It's catty to try.

While I know that we should judge any
houses as the best, there are definitely things that make a house appeal to different people. For example, Alpha Phi had a fashion show with the most gorgeous girls in their house on the first day of recruitment. This obviously is a "wow" event and makes a huge impression, but people interpret it differently according to what they want from a house. Kappa had a "Madeline in Paris" theme which really evoked a classy, well put together group of girls. Each house will grow on you and if it doesn't then that's fine! You're just not meant to be in that house, but you will be perfect for another house. Look for things (like the fashion show or Paris theme) that strike you as cool or cute. If you are repulsed by the girliness of that then you probably won't like the house. Houses present who they are during recruitment so pay attention to what you like and don't like. Good luck!
