houses to avoid?

I'm a guy from out of state and am really interested in Greek Life. The Kappa Sigma at my state university is really popular but after reading through some posts, it seems like they aren't big here. Why is that?

What are some other houses to avoid?

Don't avoid any houses. Meet them all and find your fit.

Definitely stay away from pretty much everyone except sae, pike, sig chi, and SigEp if you want any girls. SigEp is by far the best fraternity though on campus.
