Honestly, a lot of girls do it different. Some are quiet about rush crushes and some are the ones who give you their numbers and take you to lunch. But if a girl is willing to pull for you here are some signs. Other actives can disagree, everyone is different, but here are some major signs:
BEFORE RUSH-
1. She gave you her number.
2. You guys text each other. Even if it's not a lot.
3. She has invited you to lunch. Yes, going to the student union in between classes counts.
DURING RUSH-
1. Is she excited to see you?
2. Do you have a lot in common? Sports? Activities?
3. Pairing. If you are introverted and were paired up with an extroverted active, that may be bad

Before school starts is super easy. Think of them as a cute boy and you want to get his attention. Do they like your pictures? Did they send you messages? The signs are different depending on if you know them personally or not.
If you know them you have been invited to parties or to stay over in their dorms/apartments. They text you sometimes and they definitely follow you on social media. They give you advice on everything and you might already be planning on going out the first night of moving in.
If you DON'T know them personally, it's kind of hard to tell. BUT, we would like your pics that you post and we would follow you on at least one social media site.

This past spring, if you were invited to multiple spring parties, that's a good sign. If you came to one and were never asked back, bad sign. If the active has contacted you over summer just to catch up or try to hang out, good sign. We're encouraged to keep in contact with pnms over summer, but obviously we'll only keep in touch with the ones we like and want in our sorority
