I'm a PNM this year and have been stalking sororities, not only our local chapters, but their national chapters as well. While looking at delta gamma's national home page, I discovered a button at the bottom of their page for "Sponsorship Forms". www.deltagamma.org

I encourage all PNM to go take a look at this form as I am sure all sororities have a similar form the alumni fill out. THIS IS WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT WHEN THEY SAY RECOMMENDATION FORM.

Now I see why they tell us that one rec is enough and why letter of support are also important. I also see why it is important to actually know the alumni writing your rec. There is all kinds of boxes they have to check, and all kinds of personal information they need to know about us. If they don't know us, I can see how their rec may not hold as much water as an alumni who has known us our whole lives.

I can also see how involvement and character is important. This form will show you exactly what type of girl they are looking for!
