recommendations??

A letter of recommendation is basically looked at as an introduction letter from an alumni of a sorority, introducing a potential new member to her sorority. It is basically saying I would like to recommend so-n-so for membership into xyz sorority. The rec will describe her relationship to you and why she thinks you would make a good member of her sorority. At this point she is acting like a sponsor (for lack of better terms).

It is the responsibility of every potential new member to find an alumni to write one for her if she wants to be considered for membership. Every sorority requires you obtain at least one recommendation.

I would suggest you go onto the ole miss Greek life page and do a little bit of research. Or Google can be helpful too. Contact your local Panhellenic organization. They will be helpful as well.
