houses
by: Types
Obviously this does not go for every house, and everyone should have an open mind the entire rush process; you never know what house you fit into until you let yourself take in each one with a good heart & attitude. That being said, each house tends to have a type/personality, there's some form of commonality that gives a house a connection among each other (for the most part). The girls from my high school went into the above houses & I'm trying to be as honest as possible with their type/descriptions to give girls and idea of what houses (again, usually) look for or who they take.
ΔΔΔ - these were upper middle class to fairly wealthy, went out fairly often but weren't exactly crazy, pretty-gorgeous, on homecoming court a lot, and were mostly brunette (not sure if that is relevant). Most were nice.
ΚΔ - lots of cheerleaders, I've seen competive on here and I agree, usually pretty but more of an all-American vibe than pageant-y. These girls were on homecoming usually, but not necessarily super nice. Stuck to their group & weren't focused on academics. went out often
ΧΩ - all the ones I know who went this house were legacies, as in their moms, sisters, aunts. grandmothers, and cousins were all in this house at Ole Miss. Upper middle class. Not super girly but probably on the more popular side. Ranged from average to beautiful. More quiet & were in national honor society or multiple clubs. Ranged from super nice to stuck up. Pretty sure they still partied a decent amount

Oh and just wanted to address what the founders intended comment. I don't know any of the founders intentions besides my own and our own rituals etc...but I do know each sorority has their own founders and they created unique rituals (that's kind of common knowledge). So their values (while most overlap) are their own. The various founders chose their letters, colorsx symbols, motto, crest, and all that for their own reasons and values, if they didn't we would all have one sorority.

what she said was accurate. Idk if she was only basing it off the girls she knew, but it's correct.
