Honestly there is no order within the tiers! Each tier represents two totally different sororities who each choose from totally different types of girls.

DDD>KD>KKG>PhPhi>ADPi

XO>DG>PhiMu>AOPi>Theta

Not sure which chain alpha phi will fall into.

This is very accurate, but I feel like DDD could fit perfectly into both chains. They're the only house that I feel like could be put in both.

Could someone explain the differences between the two chains? Like is it a different type of girl that's a KD vs a DG for example and how so?

The chain started by ddd are girls who are fun and outgoing. They party a little more and live a little more carefree. Cheerleader types

The chain started by xo try harder and are more competitive. Student council types.

There are two sides of sororities.

There are your outgoing, bubbly, happy go lucky girls. The kind that elude confidence and just sort of fit into any situation. These are the girls we look at from across the room and wish we could be more like. (The DDD Chain)

Then there are your smart, talented, self-motivated girls who excel in just about anything they do. They are a little quieter and don't draw so much attention to themselves. They are the girls we wish we had their drive and determination. (The XO Chain)

Does this mean that one chain is better than the other?

No! They are just different "types" of houses, but one chain isn't better than the other. And there are all types of girls in each and every house, but generally this is how the houses are.

I feel this is more accurate that the traditional model we have seen floating around for the past few years.

DG is equal to KD. Aopi is equal to pi phi.

I don't agree with those chains. It puts 5 different sororities into one category. DG and XO are completely different from Aopi and Theta. DDD and KD are completely different from pi phi and ADPi. You can't put 5 sororities into one category.

Yes you can! The chains make so much sense!

They obviously don't compete with each other, they just have similar general characteristics. For example, a kappa would fit perfectly in ddd except they lack connections. KD is literally the same as ddd. There is not much difference between kappa and pi phi.

Xo and DG are interchangeable. Aopi is similar.

Phi mu could probably fit into both chains.

I didn't realize that DDD was not very different from Kappa. I figured they were more in between Kappa and Chi O??

I think you are confused by what the symbol > means.

Ddd is > than kappa. Just like xo > DG.

No that's not what I meant! @Yes! said "a kappa would fit perfectly in ddd except they lack connections.", and they were put in the same chain as Kappa Pi Phi etc. I just didn't realize that they were all that similar. I know that DDD is a stronger chapter than Kappa, but I thought that DDD had characteristics in between Chi O and Kappa, not that they had the same characteristics as Kappa. Does that make sense??

Ddd and xo are complete opposite. Yes, they are both top tier, but they share that distinction because they are so different. Girls usually prefer one over the other. Girls who go xo usually can't see themselves as ddd. Same goes for ddd not seeing themselves as xo.

One is not better than the other.

Your logic about ddd and kappa being the same is wrong, wrong, wrong. Kappa is more in tune with pi phi. KD is much closer to ddd than any other house.

No need to complicate with chains. The op got it right as long as you remember there is no order within the specific tiers.
