you are way behind. But it's okay you can still get it all done! you do not send the recs in yourself. you send the ladies writing your rec all the info they need (they can tell you everything you'll need), and each one will complete the rec and send it in herself to her sorority (you won't see it). make sure you tell them that you really want to go through recruitment but you don't really know how the process works but you are very excited and motivated to get everything done. the only thing you have to worry about with recs is getting all the right info to the rec writers and lining the rec writers up. you need at least one for every sorority. ole miss doesn't require one for every sorority to go through rush, but pretty much all the sororities need to have a rec for you in order to give you a bid. ask one of the rec writers if they know anyone in the sorority you cant find an alum for who could write you a rec if you're having trouble getting one for each house. but if you have tried everything and cant get a rec for every single sorority on campus, don't worry about it. it will all work out! also you can call the ole miss greek life office and ask them questions. they should be able to answer every question you have! i also advise you to go to www. sororitygirl101 .com and read every single article! they have some great information and advice. also there are threads on www. greekchat .com that could give you tons of helpful information too.
