social media

would it be okay to include my social media accounts with my resume when I send them? My pages are all clean, I have nothing to hide but they are all private.
I know actives and alum like to look at social media, so i figured this would make it easier for them to see a little of who I am.

Don't put any information on your resume that you wouldn't put on a resume to get a job. Don't put your Instagram or Twitter name because that just looks desperate to us. ALSO, when you send in your resume you want to seem classy and mature. If you put down any social media info on it, it will look informal.
Here's a secret! Actives and alumni just need your name to find your Facebook account. I suggest you go to "security settings" and change it to let outside people be able to look at your profile. Creepy, I know, but that's how we get a better look at you. Anyone can sound good on a resume.
