wondering
by: Tailgating
Hey y'all! This isn't really greek related but I don't know where else to ask this question. I was hoping y'all could help me out and would enjoy a quick break from answering so many repetitive questions :)
I'm transferring to Ole Miss and I was looking into campus life was just wondering what everyone did during football season.
I also read that county law prohibits beer/wine at Ole Miss. So does that mean if you are of age, you can drink liquor as long as they don't see it and you can make it scene? Also, after football season what does everyone normally do since Oxford is such a small town?

Football season is like Christmas. Games are so much fun (especially since now that we're winning) and everyone has a great time! Everyone gets dressed up and tailgates at the Grove before the game starts. After the "Walk of Champions" (when the players walk through the Grove), everyone starts heading to the stadium.
Now about the dry county situation. Ole Miss is not included in that. If you know anything about Ole Miss and how we tailgate, you should know that the dry county law doesn't seem to apply to us.

@grove So I can drink beer when tailgating at the games as long as I don't make a scene? :)
Also, I love wearing heels but the thought of wearing in the the stadium makes my feet hurt just thinking about it. Do girls change into more comfortable clothes before the games start? or at least shoes?
