Most of the guys from my area go KA at Ole Miss or Sigma Chi at State. I am going to Ole Miss this fall. One of the guys I know told me that KA took 55 guys this year. I thought the top fraternities at Ole Miss had big pledge classes. Is KA top tier?

KA is top tier but they like to stay exclusive, as does sigma chi. They both have relatively small pledge classes. Sigma nu has a larger one.

Exclusive = no one outside of MS will even consider pledging here.
Small class = see above.

So many better choices.

KA is currently top tier but they are not so much exclusive as short sighted. They did not do well in rush this year not because of exclusivity but because guys chose to go elsewhere. Another year like this and they will move to mid tier.
