spring parties

I really want to go up for a couple of parties but I have one dilemma.. I know a lot of girls but we haven't really talked about them. should I ask if I can stay with one of them or should I just wait for them to bring up the topic? i know this is lame but please help

My friends know that they have an open invite to come stay with me whenever they want. Are you close enough with them that you can simply call them up and tell them you're coming?
