sorority comments

What? Every sorority has upperclassmen! Just because someone doesn't pledge as a freshman doesn't make them any less worthy. Gee - don't be such a witch!

Many sororities at Ole Miss take upperclassmen...and now that most schools in the SEC have upperclassman quota, it's actually better to fill both quotas (freshman & upperclassman) than to not make upperclassman quota.

Lots of upperclassmen have tons of great things to offer a chapter. The chapters who snub upperclassmen are the ones who are missing out and the ones who will eventually be smaller chapters because they're not pledging full quota. their loss.

Correct me if I'm wrong but upperclassmen quota is optional here. Sororities that "snub" upperclassmen are the sororities that already have to cut a ton of freshman because they are wanted by so many. With the number of girls that go through rush, almost all 9 sororities could go without sophomore quota (with the exception of maybe 1 or 2).

If you're a sophomore and don't already have friends in a certain sorority, don't have high hopes. That's just the way it is here.

I want to say they created the upperclassmen quota about two or three years ago

to worry more about school and less about sororities.

How would a new sorority acquire members so that they could go through recruitment the following year?

To not have close bonds

This is definitely very misleading as far as the sorority rankings. Girls should go to all of the parties and they can see for themselves who is actually number 1 through 9

The sororities at Ole Miss are all very strong but most people put them in this order!
