sophomore recruitment

They're definitely an option. Sororities HAVE to take a few sophomores. I'm not sure how many but I know my house took a junior this past rush. Of course she was a legacy and had an amazing resume, but if a house really likes you, being a sophomore shouldn't matter. Aopi can't be as picky as top houses so befriend them and stand out during rush, you'll be fine

Do you know any aopi's at all? If so, follow them on social media or friend them, whatever. Contact them. Let them know you're rushing next fall and really excited about it. They'll undertand that you're a sophomore and probably nervous about rush
