rush
by: mggI was homecoming queen, popular in high school, model, ok grades but i'm OOS, does that hurt my chances of getting in a top house?

Where are you from? Southern girls always do best during rush. Are you a legacy? Do you have any alumni or in house connections? What is your GPA, hs activities, and community service like? These things all play a factor. Popularity is important, because sororiyies will start to stalk you and want to see that you're well-liked. But it isn't the only thing that matters.

i'm from Ohio, captain of my soccer team, very involved with my school but I am not a legacy of a sorority at U of M. I pretty much randomly chose to go here without knowing anyone or with any connections
