theta??

Theta at Ole Miss is a very diverse group of girls. More out of state girls, more minority girls, a lot of acceptance of women outside of the long blond hair, size 2, beauty queen or cheerleader type. They have a very tight sisterhood and don't really spend much time worrying about what other people think. They are active on campus, involved and accepting of different points of view. Not a bunch of empty headed social status seekers. And just so no one has to play "Gotcha", yes, I am PROUDLY an Ole Miss Theta.

Their nationals limits them to only girls with a 3.0 or above, and this makes it even harder on them to achieve quota each year. They're one of the newest - actually the newest - besides ADPI who recolonized, so they tend to get grade cuts and then...see first sentence. They have THE BEST philanthropy out of all the sororities - nothing can beat Theta Encore. Several girls have said they have awkward girls (all houses do, sure) but they don't seem to put any extra effort into conversation during rush when it's clear that's the issue. I'm not a Theta, but when you think of a girl in that sorority, you think of her for who she is, not what she looks like. I hope that kind of helped. It was a little bit of rambling, sorry!
