rush 2015

Because rush begins in September, does that mean the chapters go by your college GPA versus your high school GPA?

How would an incoming freshman going to have a college GPA before they have completed their first semester?

If you are a freshman, you will not HAVE a college GPA in September. Sororities use your high school grades for fall formal rush for incoming freshmen. And they need to be good.

A college GPA is used for sophomores and juniors that are participating in fall formal rush. High school grades no longer matter at that point.

Don't bother rushing. You won't get a bid being dumb and insufferably crass. You might want to try JUCO, you don't sound like Ole Miss material.

Why do you say that? IFC will not allow you to participate in rush without at least a GPA of 2.5. Some fraternities use that as a minimum and require an even higher GPA to get a bid. To say frats don't care about GPA is incorrect.
