chances of good sorority??

First, make your accounts private and delete pics where you are holding a red solo cup. Houses like pi phi, adpi, theta, etc won't care about a few solo cups, but KD, Chi O, and DG will. Also, having a private account almost makes you more interesting than PNM's with public accounts.

A 3.0 unweighted is not bad. What is your act score? Also, did you take any AP courses? Did you attend a private school? All of those things play a role just like GPA does.

You still have time to do community service. Volunteer with your church or local humane society a few times. Anything helps.

It's great that you're working on rec letters this early. I didn't gather mine until summer before i went to ole miss and rushed. If you can't find all your recs, go to the local chapter for that sorority in your area.

Being so involved in one activity is good but you still need to make sure you have a well rounded resume.

People will try to intimidate you but you'll do fine. Be friendly and open minded!

We have been known to discount girls who's social media is private. It's pretty much a given that if your profile is private that you are trying to hide something. It is better to use your social media pages to market yourself in a positive light. Delete those drinking pics! Not only are actives looking at your pages, but alumni are stalking you as well!

Community service AND leadership positions matter! Work on beefing up your résumé! Again, actives don't really care, but alumni do!

There are four or more sororities that are handed lists from their alumni. If you are not on those lists, you better network your rear end off and find several girls willing to go to bat for you!
Best advice you will get on this site: find local chapter in-house alumni to write your recs! They hold about 100 time more power than an alumni who didn't attend ole miss.

If you are riding on that level than why wouldn't you go somewhere with a team? The closest place to actually ride is Memphis! I regret my decision to take a break from riding and even though I love the school!
