Looks like we are only missing Chi Omega. Total number of girls that signed up for rush was ~ 1550. Assuming that Chi O took about 130, that means that roughly 92% to 93% completed recruitment & were offered a bid. That is a huge percentage! Only about 115 dropped out or were cut from rush.

Wondering the same thing myself. I get why top chapters didn't take many, but what gives with theta. Maybe they really are trying to change their image and didn't want to take any girls they didn't totally want.

Chapters DON'T get to CHOOSE to take QAs or not. QAs are GIVEN based on how many girls preffed and how they ranked the house after that.
Truth hurts, but we all know Theta isn't a strong recruiting chapter at Ole Miss. Theta's numbers indicate that Theta was probably ranked LAST by MOST girls who preffed them. Let's not pretend that they're all of a sudden getting more selective when that's not the case.
Based on the numbers, my guess is that many girls put ADPi before Theta.
I'm glad Theta made quota though.

on to "No," that seems to be what happened with Theta, In DDD and DG's case, they probably had not nearly as many girls at their pref parties and had most put them first, therefore their lists filled up faster and since they have great retention didn't have as many spots as other chapters either. If I had to guess, knowing the way bid lists and quota additions work, there were probably a fair number of girls who pref'd DDD and DG but got their second choice since they were not given additions and others got them.

@No , so does this mean that Tri Delt and DG didn't do well technically speaking? If a house can't choose about QAs, it makes sense that not many girls listed them first or whatever, right? Or did they just not pref as many girls so they didn't have the option? I'm genuinely confused about how QAs work!

Remember that with ADPi added another round of recruitment was also added. In the past girls went from 9 houses to 6 to 3 and this year it went from 10 to 8 to 5 to 2...so lots of estimating and adjustments had to be made this year.
This was probably a huge factor in the number disparity since the previous years' numbers would essentially be invalid. It'll even out in the next few years.
