declining my bid

I'm a female PNM. I was thinking about declining my bid and trying again next year. But I'm being told that if you do that, you'll get cut next year. Is this true?

I clearly understood that, but was just trying to make the point that fraternities are different than sororities about redoing rush. It is almost impossible in sorority rush. I agree. Hopefully she took her bid
