Is rush just now starting? Like isn't it pretty late ?
Is it just now starting for fraternities also? I know Alabama has already done theirs. Do y'all just do it late ?

You are way out of the loop. Way back when, people dropped out of school when they didn't get the fraternity/sorority they wanted, so the University had Panhellenic/IFC push rush back past the drop date. Any other reasons are just things they made up to hide this.
