cuts first round

Today will have the most cuts because Panhellenic forced half the houses to cut 1000 girls.
Bottom tier should do pretty good this year. They were the only houses who didn't have to make steep cuts.
It's ashamed that the sororities should be forced to cut so many girls after first round. Panhellenic made mistakes this year in their decisions!

You think I'm wrong? You tell me how many girls the top houses were required to release today? I'll tell you! 600 was the maximum number of invites those houses could invite back. With close to 1600 girls going through, you do the math and tell me how any girls had to be released after the first round.

I think this was partially misunderstood! The person talking about half the houses having to make huge cuts didn't mean that's how many girls were 100% completely released from recruitment, they were only cut from XYZ houses. So dorm visits may be small, but invites back to the most sought after houses will be harder to get.

Depending on return rates, the amount of cuts varied per house. Houses with higher return rates had to cut more. Literally, top houses had to cut higher than 900 girls after the first round.
It's why we constantly tell girls to keep their options open when going through and not to take anything personally.

It's not too little! When girls see that they get invited back to a MAX of 8 houses, they think that if they get lower that they will never get a bid. Being asked back to "too little" is not a problem. 4 houses like you! It doesn't matter in the end how many asked you back because you'll end up with the house you're meant to be in!
You just need one! One house! :) My friend went through rush at a different school, and out of the 17 houses 5 asked for her back after the first round. FIVE out of 17! She then went through skit (sisterhood) and pref with only one house. She got her bid and couldn't be happier!!
