So, my boyfriend is already in a fraternity here at Ole Miss and I will be rushing this fall. Do certain fraternities hang out with certain sororities? If so, which ones?

KD and EX, Phi Delt and SAE
DDD and EN, Phi Delt and Kappa Sig
XO and KA, EX, and ATO
DG and KA, ATO, and maybe EN/Kappa Sig?? Not sure.
Kappa and Phi Delt, SAE, and Pike.
Phi Mu and KA, ATO, and a mix of others.
And I feel like everyone else is more all over the place.

You will find girls from EVERY sorority at all the fraternity formals and date parties and guys from a wide variety of frats at each sorority function.

XO - KA/Sigma Nu
DDD - Sigma Nu/Phi Delt some KA
KD - Sigma Nu/Sigma Chi
Kappa.. Phi Delt/SAE/many others
Phi Mu & ATO/KA/kappa sig
DG hangs a lot at KA and somewhat Pike/ATO

You mix according to your tiers. Top mixes with top, middle mixes with middle, etc. you would naturally mix up or down one tier, but a top tier would not really ever mix with a bottoms tier. Seriously!

At fraternity parties, there will generally be a mix of all sororities, but for swaps, homecomings, social events between fraternities and sororities, you would stick within your tiers.

You are planning on joining a sorority based on which sorority hangs out with your boyfriends fraternity???

I would say you are a little misguided! And disillusioned! There is not any pairings, only sorority groupies that hang out with certain fraternities, but you can be in any sorority to be a groupie!

Very true. Just ask XO. Huge KA groupie. They all went to high school together and get to college and don't make new friends. Kinda sad.

After being back in oxford, I have to say that there DEFINITELY are some pairings.
Like come on, KD and Delta Psi??? Love is in the air!!!
Beta and DG?? Those ladies know what they're doing ;)
Tri Delt and Phi Tau...'nuf said.
Chi-O / Sigma Pi?? So many hookups- you think Sigma Nu is good, but try again.
AOPi and Phi Delt!! I hear these two do some raging!!
Theta and KA (seriously tho, match made in heaven)
Kappa and Sig Ep (RIP) - they may be gone, but they're forever inside Kappas hearts
