out of state rushing?

I'm from Florida looking at going to ole miss, I live in the panhandle area of Florida, I have a 4.0 GPA, good looking and a bubbly personality. Would I have a chance getting a bid from XO/DDD/KD?

Do you know anyone? If not, I would say no. That's why they call it rush. People rush you when they know you and like you.

Depends. You will have to somehow catch the eye of the actives so they can get to know you prior to rush. During rush, there is no way anyone can get to know you during a busy rush party.

Honey do yourself a favor and skip all that nonsense. Sororities at Ole Miss are filled with hypocrisy and extreme shallowness. For example they will tell PNMS not to smoke, drink or so much as look at a guy while going through rush while the actives are hacking, puking and hanging all over the guys.

You know, I knew when I posted I was going to get a comment like yours. I preffed two of the top tier houses and went a top tier house. I'm a 5th year Sr. So no longer active. I could have been one of your "sisters". I made some great friends but most of us think the sorority bs is too much and very hypocritical.

@favor from one of those bitter old alumnae on GC... and it is the women that you so casually dismiss that write your recommendations that allow you to join our sororities. It is the bitter Greekchat women who donate to pay for the chapter house that you live in, you arrogant little girl. And if you are LUCKY, one day you will be an old sorority alumnae who has to put up with comments like yours.
