Fraternities
EX- getting off probation, will have a great pledge class in the fall.
Phi Delt- Ivy League was the best spring party this year.
KA- Hayseed was the biggest disappointment of 2014
EN- Even though Woodstock wasn't as bad as hayseed, it wasn't good enough to surpass KA.

ATO- Gatorbash was decent
Kappa Sig- South Seas was overrated this year
Pike- Spring party was ehhh. Phi Psi is catching up.
Phi Psi- Best spring party of the middle tier, with sig ep gone they now have the "animal house" reputation. Expect their best pledge class ever in the fall.
SAE- Patty Murphy left a little to be desired. The whole no pledgeship thing is worrisome. Expect a decent pledge class next year, but they will get worse as the years go on.
-------HUGE GAP between middle and bottom--------
Sigma Pi- Best spring party of the bottom tier
Delta Psi- not a great spring party (or whatever that was), but they're ridiculously smart and do their own thing.
Beta- yes they did have a decent spring party with some pretty big names performing, but that can't mask how weird the guys are.
Phi Tau- rumors that Sig Ep is joining them are interesting, and if true, it moves them up above the colonies. Rushees beware: this is not a situation you want to walk into.
Sororities

DDD
XO- going downhill, need to cut legacies.

Seems to me that the consensus on campus is that kappa has the momentum (chancellor's cup 3/4 years, super pledge classes, etc.) and that XO, KD and possibly DDD are slipping. Doesn't this set the stage for kappa becoming solidly top tier? I'm not a kappa; just asking.

Apparently no matter how often I say it u won't believe me, but I'm really not a kappa. I'm just trying to learn more about the sororities. Why is it bad to try to win an award? If you are in a solidly top tier sorority, why wouldn't you just fill out the form with your superior achievements and win it?

What you are saying is that you are making blanket statements about kappa being top tier without knowing first hand? You are in a fact finding mission? Are you a pnm? If so, please quit ranking sororities based on what you think! Handle out on campus and go through rush before making asinine statement about kappa.

No, there isn't a "huge gap" at all. Pi phi, Theta, AOP, and maybe Kappa are all pretty even. Look at other posts and you will see this. There are just subtle differences and personal preferences that distinguish these houses as with each and every other one.
Every single house on campus is strong!

You are crazy if you think there is no gap between Kappa and these sororities. They are much closer to my sorority than those. Geez you are not a student here.

To but really: I can't believe you would include kappa in the same sentence with theta. Yes, there is a huge gap.
