All the Ole Miss sororities are incredibly supportive of ADPi! We all have friends who chose to be founding members of this great national group! Please quit putting them down, it is simply not true, and if you did in fact go to school here, you would see just how fabulous these women are! Congrats ADPI! We are so happy for you!

DG and alpha phi are the newest to campus at Alabama. I know dg had previously been there. But after a few short years these chapters are doing then the bottom like gamma phi. The here bottom will stay the bottom just like at Alabama. At Alabama Dg especially has done better then several chaper that have been there for decades like adpi and dz. I think adpi at ole miss will be on the same level as Pi phi and aopi in a few short years. They got to choose from over 400 girls. They had a high minimum gpa requirement too. Fraternities that won't swap with bottom tier houses here have already planned a swap with then. Clearly they did something right. The only people that are bashing this chapter are the ones hoping it fails and that would only be bottom houses. Middle and top sororities are vitutalyy unaffected by the colonization. Sorry thetas it looks like you will still be on the bottom because most girls won't won't to join a house with such a bad reputation and that is mean and jut trying to find a leg to stand on.

The hierarchy here is almost entirely based on when each sorority came to campus. Chi O and Tri Delt were here first and the others follow in suit. This is how it works at Ole Miss. ADPi had an okay pledge class for being so new, but the rankings have already been defined for years and one sorority isn't going to change that.

It can be just as hard to get a bid to a colonizing sorority, though maybe it wasn't here. Colonies try to get as many, or as close to as many, members as the other sororities on campus so they can stay alive and really get rooted. When you look at how big the sororities here are, and if ADII only had 330 come through, then maybe that's why they gave bids to most. Boy, sure would feel bad to be one of the 21 who didn't get a bid. I actually heard over 400 went through their recruitment, but haven't seen any numbers announced by Panhellenic or ADII, except an alum told me it's the biggest colony in ADII's history. I wish them all the best! Ole Miss needed another sorority and ADII is strong nationally and has a good name.
