rush @ ole miss

I will be a freshman next year from out of state (TX). I know connections and recs can be very important to some houses. how do i find women from ole miss that could write rec letters if i know very few people who went here?? just want to be as prepared as possible, thanks!!

I would honestly just use recommendations from people that you know that did greek life. Its hard to just find someone to write a recommendation that you don't know. Thats all I can really say, just be yourself during rush and im sure you will end up in a house that you feel you belong in.

it doesn’t matter if they went to ole miss or not, many girls with past chapter presidents had them written and got cut. Basically just get one from any school so you don’t have a reason to get cut automatically but they won’t help you

It's more important to have recs for every house than to have recs from only Ole Miss grads.

Prioritize getting recs for every house from women who know you & your family well over random Ole Miss alumnae. Ideally recs are from women who are still involved in their sororities, too.
