time for a new sorority @ ole miss

Another NPC isn’t going to come here for a while, it’s expensive to start a new chapter and they aren’t going to want to risk getting driven out like theta

Alpha Chi Omega should colonize here

the toxicity in the Greek community needs to be changed before panhel decides to expand. because most likely, the new sorority won't feel welcomed and will be bullied bc they aren't the kd, ddd, or whatever.

Even though APhi fared well with coming back, other NPC chapters are going to really hesitate colonizing here. Especially Zeta, who got driven out like theta did long ago. Besides, SK’s colonization wasn’t the smooth sailing OP presented it to be; they faced similar pushback from threatened chapters on campus who raised flags that they didn’t have enough alums, didn’t have enough money, weren’t big enough nationally or in the south, etc. they’re going to be great, but there’s no doubt in my mind any chapter that colonized here will be Met with the same “they’re going to fail” attitude.

I think it would be nice to have one of the sororities who have been here before back. So, Zeta, Alpha Xi or DZ. They all previously closed before RFM, so, they could possibly do well if they return. Is Ole Miss actually open for expansion though?

Ole Miss IS NOT ready to welcome a new chapter. I wanted them to in order to give Theta a break. Instead, the process and issues here for generations broke Theta.

Open the library on game day. Get a recycling plan. Serve healthier food.

I don't have a relationship with Theta but, respect how they took all the crap thrown at them for 2 years. Parents from my area told me to expect but, I never dreamed it was real. Needless to say, there isn't an Ole Miss h.s. rep in our area with an Alumni Group for professional development.

Get your crap together and stop scaring off parents and alumni with enough money to give with this repellant.\n\n\n\n\n

I can't imagine any sorority wanting to come here. Too toxic. The University and Panhellenic have not focus on the importance of being part of the Greek Life system.

Can't imagine any NPC Chapter would possibly subject themselves to the toxicity and bullying that is sadly prevalent in Ole Miss Greek Life. Why would they want to spend millions only to have their new chapter possibly fail because they are sneered at like the two newest houses have been, and persistently bullied like Theta has been?

You’re really going to say that after Alpha Phi has been bullied for no reason ever since they announced they were coming to campus???

I wish another would colonize at OM as well. If so, it will be a few years.
