why now?
by: Why?
Why, after years of vicious ranking and bullying of Theta does everyone feel sad and think Theta is a great sorority? Guess what! To little, to late!
Want to stand behind your sadness? Talk to Theta national with a plan to help Theta stay on campus. And if you're all talk and no action, then shut up.

I was wondering the same thing, where were all these bleeding hearts when Theta was getting bashed? Now that everyone has had a taste of the poison, make a pact and do something.
If everyone on these other threads hate the ranking and the tiers then GET OFF GR, Quit Feeding the Trolls!! If no one came on here then the invisible 'moms' wont have anything to talk about or anyone to talk to.
Truth is, not everyone on this site is a mom or a troll, there are plenty of actives on here and they are the ones hiding and spewing hate. Then they feel a little guilty once someone gets hurt.
So, hey all you loud mouths - Walk the Talk! otherwise Greek life as you all know it or think you know it is about to change for everyone!!!

Meet with the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs and Panhellenic in the morning to determine how to help keep the chapter on campus and go into discussion with Theta national as a united front.
Prove that we have Panhellenic love on our campus, but then attitudes will need to change.

The more people who are wiling to stand up for Theta in the Greek community the better. Having people constantly say negative things about them hurt them so much. They can't win this fight on their own. We can and should do better by our panhellenic sisters.
#5 by: Who
Who is willing to stand up and fight to keep Theta on campus? Who is willing to stop demeaning and belittling Theta on this site? Who is willing to tell our mothers and grandmothers that "tiers" aren't important to out generation? Who is willing to respect and recognize that our sororities have more similarities than differences? Are we, as women, willing to step up and respect each other, help each other and grab the reins of leadership that we all know we can do?
Have you ever wondered if you "have what it takes" to bring about change? I know I have. Now is our time to answer the question. And the answer is YES, we are strong and caring. Right now, we have the chance to prove that our Greek Community is strong and that we are capable of, and determined to do, the right thing, because that is who we are!
Imagine, we can do this! Perhaps we will even be an inspiration to a college where this same situation could happen. We need to be strong and show that we "have what it takes" to do the right thing. And I can say this because I know we have it. Imagine taking this skill set and accomplishment out to the business world. Now is our time!
I would love to see the older sororities on campus quickly build a coalition and bring all of sororities and fraternities together to produce an action plan to present to Theta national and Ole Miss.

If you are truly serious, then carry this movement to Twitter and FB to get some traction. Write letters, emails, make phone calls. But first, encourage all the houses to blow the roof off the final Theta Encore and raise even more money for CASA than you did last year. Good luck all you beautiful souls and even if you are unable to #SaveTheta, be kinder to one another and stand up to the people who try to bring down any house on that campus. Let’s learn from this and empower one another!
