can we all learn from this please
by: sad & disgusted
Can we all agree that theta leaving is horribly sad and we are all to blame for ever focusing on ranks!
All the houses here are important and needed and honestly the divides between all the houses isn't much, no matter how much better you want to think you are.
Honestly no one is really better or worse than anyone else and if you don't believe me ask Jesus what he thinks.
Im disappointed in all of us for fighting over who's ranked where or who self ranks or any of this stupidness.
Thetas are all great girls that want to make friends, participate in greek life and do good things for their community. They aren't petty and so full of theirselves to drop out bc they didn't get some other house. They are smart funny nice kind caring good girls that we all should be proud to be, proud to know and proud to be friends with.
The take away from this should be to stop all ranking, shaming and bullying from here on out and shut down anyone who tries to start that shameful bs up anymore.
The last thing we need is to not learn from this and keep running houses off. The fact that we are down to only 10 houses should be embarrassing to all of us.
Anytime you start to think about attacking another house I hope you all "ThinkTheta" and stop yourself!

I agree. This is what happens when a bunch of girls think they are superior to others. I feel really bad for Theta and the new girls. Ole Miss is going to tank if the sororitys (and frats) don't stop ranking each other - I mean if the 10-12 people in those do that. And everyone needs to agree that every house has some good, some bad, and some mixed members and all. The NE Jxn/Madison obsession has poisoned OM.

STOP BLAMING MOMS!!! More than two-thirds of the comments on here are from actives self ranking and stirring the pot. Yes, I think 'moms' and alums post here too, but you need to look on your own campus for the largest pool of posters. Quit trying to shift the blame!
