kicked off?

If this is true, then it's a sad day at Ole Miss. Sad because whenever a chapter has closed, it's because they can't meet quota over time and THAT is distinctly influenced by bullying, name-calling and all the ways that many people treat Theta here. If other chapters would actually support a chapter like Theta, then they might have done better through the years.
And I want to clarify something that was posted earlier since it's erroneous. Another poster wrote:
"Nationals is not going to close a chapter with 250 girls. Even if Theta is one of the smaller chapters on our campus, it's still going to be one of the larger Theta chapters."
That's not how it works. Just because this chapter might be one of Theta's larger chapters has nothing to do with being closed or kept open. What it's about is that the chapter cannot sustain itself and hasn't for many years....years of not meeting quota means its reputation suffers and then they continue to have a hard time meeting quota and the cycle continues year after year; it's even more of an issue when the two newest chapters seem to be holding their own and Theta continues to decline. Financially it's not sustainable if the other houses have 350-450 girls and you're at 250 and you need to be able to compete in rush. Given how long the quota/retention struggle has gone on, there is a point where the doors can't stay open any longer. And that is very sad since Theta is such a strong national sorority with many great girls here.
We need every house here, they're already too big, I think, so we need to support every house.

NewsWatch has put it up on their website and on their Twitter account so that would seem to make it true. Says that Theta won't be here in spring 2019 so I guess they'll be closed at the end of this semester. So sad.
