don’t fit in

I have a friend that ended up in a house that was not on the top of her list last year. She didn't know anyone in her pledge class and she didn't feel like she fit in. She didn't go to any of the social events or swaps the first few months. I was really worried she was going to transfer after the fall semester. But she came back for the spring and realized she needed to put in more effort. She has since made a ton of new friends and is now very active in her house!

There are over a hundred new girls in your house and there are some girls who will fit perfectly with you and your personality! Keep trying and open your mind to making new friendships. I promise you will find your place in your new house and, remember, that they wanted you enough to offer you a bid. Give them a chance!
