4 houses after first cuts

by: PNM

I like all the houses I got call backs for, I am so scared of being cut from all. What are the reasons we would be cut in the next round?

First of all, hang in there! It sounds like you are doing just fine, especially with your positive and engaged outlook. That alone indicates some wonderful qualities you have, and I'm sure houses will pick up on that. The other truth is that IT ONLY TAKES ONE. So keep you cool and soldier on. Try to keep a healthy perspective of the whole arduous process and keep reminding yourself that it only takes one, and you really do want to land where the sisters want YOU! I am cheering for you.

By this time last year I had 5. I am very happy. It is hard not getting full number back. Variable quota has tough cuts the 1st round. The above poster is right. It only takes one ad you are not alone. Think of it as only having 4 to process. It makes it less overwhelming. You have more time to study, get yourself put together, eat, and relax. Smile and make sure you put your best foot forward.

Be yourself and let the chapters know you are truly interested in them! I feel like a lot of girls don't verbally express their interest in a chapter and then get released from a house because the active didn't know she was actually interested! If you're excited to be back at a house, let them know!
