Just go with the flow.

Honestly, that's the best advice I can give. I'm not from Mississippi, or the south, but I came to ole miss and went through recruitment with no ideas about anything and love my house. Simple as that.

Perhaps because I wasn't from around here I didn't quite understand the pressure around recruitment, so maybe that worked in my favor. But if you take it easy on yourself, don't have any expectations about where you think you should be, this week becomes a whole different experience. So just IGNORE all of the franticness and panic around you and just go with it. You'll be much better off.

Why? You will be so much more relaxed going into houses, and they will be able to tell that. You will be so much more open to houses that you didn't think you were interested in before. And you'll just enjoy the whole thing more.
