getting first choice house....

Why does everyone say that most girls get their second choice house? Wouldn't it be 50/50? Half get their first choice, half get their second choice. Most of my close friends in my pledge class all got our first choice house :)

Actually, around 85% or higher of PNM's are placed with their first choice house. This doesn't guarantee anything for an individual PNM though. Every PNM should be prepared for getting her second choice house, and put a big smile on her face and accept that bid with an open heart.
