should i rush as a veteran?

by: JJ

I just got out of the military after 4 years. I’m 22, from two hours away but I don’t know many people here and I miss this brotherhood I had when I was in. Will I have a chance to get into a good fraternity and will I be judged for being older?

Personally, I wouldn’t wanna go through pledgeship as a 22 year old. There are so many other things you can get involved with on campus. And yes, you might be judged

Are you going to go by what anonymous people say on here, or are you going to rush and make up your own mind? You are not the first vet to rush a fraternity. Leadership potential and being able to legally buy alcohol for your pledge brothers are automatically in your favor. If you can deal with the age difference between you and your pledge class and not have a problem with older guys telling you what to do then go for it. If a house doesn't want you then they don't deserve you.
