hit up your nearest party city and go to town. that and amazon, it was truly my best friend during swap/spring party szn. don’t be afraid to go all out. you’re NEVER underdressed. swaps are usually themed so if you buy enough random stuff to wear you should have something for every theme

If you have stuff, bring it. Otherwise, wait until you get there. You never know what the themes will be until you get up here. Planning with friends is fun and shopping in town is also a good bonding experience.

Some popular themes are cowboys vs aliens, ski lodge, jarty (all jean everything), halloween, hometown throw down, toga, etc. but I wouldn't go crazy with a specific theme just yet. I would get some basic things. Once you're in a sorority and you get the list of themes you can order stuff from Amazon! It gets really expensive really quickly so you don't want to buy a bunch of stuff you might never use
