place me
by: HeeeyHey guys! Place me in a house: I'm from Minnesota, I have a 3.7 gpa in high school, do NHS, choir and theater stuff, and I ran track. I'm not crazy popular, kind of nerdy, but I have a close, small group of friends. I'm pretty introverted, so I'm nervous that I won't do that well during rush...

Don’t worry :)
Just go through rush and be realistic about what you keep and how things went with the girls you talk to. See where you feel at home. A lot of girls are pretty introverted and such and are completely fine. As long as you’re nice and genuine and don’t have any like red flags (doesn’t sound like you do) you should get a bid from somewhere. Don’t stress too much about tiers either. I know everyone tends to hate on several sororities before rush but there are plenty of wonderful girls in each one and I’m sure you’ll find a home in one!

There are introverts in every house. As long as you have everything in order - grades, activities, recs, a polished look and the ability to have good conversations - you should be fine.
Asking to be 'placed' is a sure way to create bias toward or against certain houses before you even get here. Wait and see for yourself!
