how oos pnm landed sorority of choice

I'm an OOS member of top tier sorority. Here is my story (and I invite other OOS members to share their stories here).

From the Midwest, didn't know a soul here.

Legacy status from sister in northern sorority - mid tier there and
sought after here.

Visited here my senior year - met one girl in legacy sorority by accident. She must have really liked me and pushed for me (now that I know what I know...that being OOS legacy didn't help much). Didn't even know about spring parties so didn't go.

4.0+ weighted GPA./leadership/sports in HS

Had I not met that girl, I probably wouldn't have made the cut. Had I looked at this site, I would've learned a few things like importance of connections and spring parties, etc. \n\n\n\n\n
