why does theta get so much hate?

Like sure there’s some odd girls in it but people act like they’re just horrible or something. I have a few friends in it and have been to their house a few times and I mean like it’s not like it’s filled with terrible or weird girls. I don’t know a ton of girls in it but the ones I do are all normal and really sweet and all seem to enjoy it despite the reputation. And if you ask no one really has an answer other than they’re weird but I mean from my limited experience a large portion of them are perfectly fine lol

Just the GR trolls hate on Theta. Theta is fine, they have good members and work hard for their philanthropy. They probably have one of the better sisterhoods. They tend to be OOS students which the Ole Miss Moms discount as unimportant - so basically they don't fit into the 'Mississippi' mold.

It’s an old reputation that people don’t want to let go of. A lot of girls who ended up in theta are girls who just went into rush without connections. I think they’re a chill group of girls who don’t take their reputation too seriously
