overweight and joining sorority
by: pnmhelpI’m gonna cut right to the point and say that I’m a plus size gal and considering doing recruitment. Will I be treated differently because of this? I think I have a good personality and near perfect grades. I just don’t want to sign myself up to be judged based on that and I also understand sororites have an image to worry about. Just looking for opinions.

I felt the same way going through recruitment. I was not confident in my body compared to some other teeny girls. But I made sure to find the houses that valued me as a person instead of what I looked like. I went back to the maximum number of houses each round and ended up pledging my top house. Sororities know that each girl is different - both in appearance and personality. I advise doing what I did. Just be yourself, be genuine, and have fun. Chapters are looking for the girls who are happy to be visiting their house instead of the ones who feel uncomfortable, act negatively, and complain.

Are the "mom days" while they are active sorority members or after they start stalking Greekrank as insecure, frustrated, old bullies?
