going into rush 2018

KD / Tridelt - most girls I know loved both and there wasn’t a huge divide in preference
DG / Kappa - both have huge appeal to the trendier girls, less historic but still have great tradition
Chi O- we can all agree they have fell the past 3 or 4ish years from taking strictly legacies and not looking further. Still AMAZING just less competitive than they used to be.
Phi Mu - will always be amazing and competitive but have lost their edge compared to the other. In my opinion it’s from their more laid back approach to rush, not a bad thing because they get the girls they want.
Pi phi- great house, kinda a safety net for the girls that fall through the cracks of the other houses due to quota
AOPI- not very competitive but placed here because they’re still a good option at the end of rush
Adpi - personally think they recruit random oos girls but they’re not afraid to cut risks like the other lower houses are. This will probably get hate but that’s just my opinion after seeing them the past few years
Aphi - great option for grade/reputation risks who still want to be involved in Greek life. They recruit differently than most of the houses, and at a school so based on tradition as Ole Miss I don’t know if that is helping or hurting.
Theta - great option for girls who are not typically Ole Miss sorority girls. They get a lot of hate but going through rush you’ll see great girls end up here and wonder why. I think they are ranked so low because that’s hownrs been historically.

Lol, I was thinking the same thing. Whenever you see some long random description of all the sororities (and the description includes at least one profanity) and Alpha Phi described as "hot" and middle tier, you know it's an Alpha Phi. Probably need to spend less time on GR and more time hitting the books.
