legacy with no connections

So i am a double legacy at a top house here, but my mom and sister didn't go to ole miss, they went to a small east coast college. I know very few people at Ole Miss and none are in this house, actually none are in a top tier for that matter lol.

My friend was a triple legacy at Kappa (not ole miss) and wanted that but didn't even get into that.

Is legacy from another school pretty much useless here?

Also are norts out? Is lululemon in?

Legacies, even Ole Miss legacies, don't carry the influence they once did. Because of variable quota, even OM legacies get cut, especially in the top tier houses.

You'll get the courtesy invitation to the 2nd round, but honestly I wouldn't overly focus on your legacy house, especially if you have no connections - rush is just so competitive here that connections are key for the top houses.

There are great girls in every house and many houses are open to out-of-state and out-of-region girls who don't have connections - so there's a place for you if you keep an open mind.
