rankings based on data
by: Just for Fun
The past few semesters I have posted a ranking based on statistical data based on 1. Actual member totals 2. Retention Rates 3. Overall growth rates over a 3 years period 4.Current GPA Averages and 5. GPA Growth. Each category is given equal weight to determine the statistical ranking. This ranking is based solely on numbers. Although I feel this method can provide an indication of sorority satisfaction and quality it in no way replaces someone's personal preference.
So here it is: 1-Chi-O; 2-KD; 3-DDD; 4-Phi-Mu; 5-DG; 6-Kappa; 7-AOPi; 8-Pi Phi; tied for 9-ADPi and Alpha Phi; 10-Theta.
I use the same method each semester to calculate the results and each semester the results shift slightly.

all this really count is (a) how many people join and stay and (b) gpa
with variable quota you have aphi taking 200+ and top tiers taking barely 100, so you ranking that doesn't matter.
second, gpa doesn't matter. I'd take a 3.6 pre med major over a 4.0 gender studies major all day long.
before you nerd out, realize what you are trying to nerd out on is completely irreverent
