Whoever post these trending posts must not attend Ole Miss.
KD is already number 1 - nothing more needs to be said.
DDD is not trending down, they are still very popular and very desired with the Mississippi/Memphis girls, also with some other urban area private school. They may be in the number 2 position but they are aren't necessarily trending down, it's just that KD moved to number 1.
Chi-O is in a precarious no change situation. They are still popular and recruit heavily within the Jackson legacies. However, relying on this legacy group is beginning to isolate Chi-O and the last thing you want is to be considered a high school sorority. No change is going to become a downward trend - time to kick the mommies out of the recruitment process.
DG is trending up thanks to variable quota. Those girls that didn't get into KD, DDD or Chi-0 were pushed to DG. But surprise, surprise they started getting some of the better resumed but less connected legacies to the other three - and they grabbed them for the shear pleasure of grabbing legacies. Plus DG bring own legacies in and they're a little more diverse.
Kappa is sadly trending down. They have struggled with recruitment and retention, but they will be considered an upper middle tier regardless of their numbers. There seems to be a denial to whatever is causing Kappa's situation, but ignoring it isn't going to make it go away.
Phi Mu is trending the same. They are the first in the line of the more diverse sororities. Of course they have Mississippi girls but Phi Mu is very attractive to OOS girls. They recruit well and meet their quota. They do have a very slightly higher retention loss rate, but it's not enough to affect their status.
Pi Phi is trending up. They recruit well with OOS girls, meet their quota and maintain an average retention rate. They tend to recruit from a geographical diverse area. Pi Phi is starting to see their own Ole Miss legacies arriving and actively seeking membership in Pi Phi.
AOPi is trending up. Like Pi Phi they recruit well with OOS girls, they meet their quota and maintain an average retention rate. They also recruit from a more diverse geographical areas. They have a slight edge over Pi Phi is GPA but other than that have similar numbers. AOPi is also seeing an increase in legacies actively seeking membership in AOPi.
Alpha Phi is trending up. They have had very successful recruitments. However, they have had the full benefit of variable quota, so it will take more time to see what happens when they are subject to the same quotas as everyone else. It does appears Alpha Phi has successfully navigated their first few years and have arrived as a strong sorority.
ADPi is trending the same. And by same, I mean they have had almost zero growth rate in the past 3 years even with the full advantage of variable quota.
Theta is trending up. They have improved in recruitment, retention and GPA. The future looks good for Theta.
