I could care less what DG thinks. They are nice girls, who are super involved and are known for being really extra. What I dont think at ALL! is that Chi O is top three. I just dont see it! They are nice enough, but really just wallpaper who you dont even notice.
If you are ranking I would say KD then tridelt
Then the next group...which traditionally starts with DG then phi mu and kappa. You could throw Chi O in with these three, but I honestly would put them on par with AOPI or PIPHI.
So DG comes in 3rd but thats just by default at this point.
The problem is that so many people agree that Chi O is not top 3....so just make it a top 2 then. It still puts DG at 3rd no matter what, i just think its a tier down from the other two.

Last year, the defining moment was when KD wrote that fun little Tattoo for Old Row. To me that was the most telling thing, who they think their rivals are. Really no one cares at all about Chi O because they may be good at retaining members but their members are just bland as oatmeal....and this isnt promoting DG, in saying Chi O is bad.
DG promotes themselves enough, i dont care to jump on their bandwagon

That's because ChiO KNOWS they've fallen waaaaaay behind DG and DG is also very good at State, so ChiO is doubly afraid that they are loosing their standings in the whole state of Mississippi.... EVEN in Jackson.

Oh yes! Mississippi! The entire world is completely obsessed with Mississippi! Especially Jackson! And Chi-O not being first would completely change life as we know it!

I know it's been said several times, but seriously, this is a battle that is being fought by the 80's Moms. Most of the toxic childish comments, bashing any and all sororitys, are coming from some really crazy Moms who just can't let go of the old tier worship. How many Actives actually care about the tiers? I know I don't. I've got friends in all the sororitys. I've got close friends in AOPI, DDD, DG, Kappa, KD, Pi Phi, and Phi Mu. We all love our sororities and we are all actively contributing to our school and community. I don't think DG is better than Chi-O or Chi-O is better than DG - they're just different. I also know my DG friend isn't worrying about Chi-O or where they rank (or where DG ranks). I feel sure this battle is going to continue as long as the mentally unstable old alums have access to this site - but I sure wish they would find another outlet for their frustrations.

I am also an active who does not care about the tiers. I will be accused of not caring because I am a 'non-connected' OOS member of a 'lower' tier. However some of my best friends are members of Tri-Delts, KDs, AOPi, Phi Mu and Pi Phi. They are a mix of Mississippi students and OOS students which proves that Mississippi students WILL be friends with OOS students. Anyone who is an active knows the stuff written on this site is garbage. Don't know if it is a bunch of old ladies or trolls or whoever - but the crazy stuff posted on this site doesn't reflect Ole Miss Greek Life.

Chi-O is fine, they are not pushing themselves down - that's just silly. Chi-O is fine, DG is fine, everyone is fine. No need to say anything else.

I'm not sure what DG thinks, but I don't think ChiO is #3. I'm not even sure if they are #4. Half of them are unattractive or weird, so I don't know how they can be top.
