Also Theta, APhi.

Basically any houses but the top tier (Chi O, Tri Delt, KD). Even though you're a DG legacy, it might not matter since even OM chapter legacies are getting cut due to Variable Quota making rush so tough. Non-chapter legacies don't carry as much influence in general, to be honest.

Some of the houses mentioned above as OOS friendly are more "Out of State friendly for Southern girls" than Out of the State from other regions. What part of the country are you from?

The only real and honest advice anyone can give you on this site is to come to Ole Miss recruitment with an open mind. There is no perfect sorority but all of them are amazing. DO NOT use this site as a source to gain any information. However, I will give you some information that would have helped me if I had known in advance: GET REFERRAL LETTERS TO EVERY SORORITY and get more than one. Start looking now, ask your teachers, your friends Moms, church members, anyone and everyone you know, and make sure they know where to send those letters. If you are a legacy make sure the legacy information is entered. Keep your grades up or work to improve them. Try to place yourself in positions of leadership in a few clubs. Also be sure to check with the Ole Miss Panhellenic site for recruitment application requirements.

THIS ^^^

And to the OP - really get your grades up (if they aren't already good) because grades are how houses cut first. Recs are super important and don't let anyone tell you that they aren't.

And everything else above is also important, but if your grades aren't good (or even close to good), be prepared to be cut quickly.

One last thing - Ole Miss rush is one of the toughest and hardest in the country so if you didn't already know that, you should. Seems like some out-of-state (especially out-of-region) girls aren't aware so it's even harder for them. You can definitely find a home, but be open and be patient with the process.

My grades are fairly good like a 3.7 weighted but I come from a hard high school. I don't care as much about being in the top tier sororities just want to find girls I fit in and get along with:) thank you!

if no connections then forget "top 3"

try to make connections

really need
1. grades (3.0 or more)
2. good activities/leadership
3. at least 2 recs to each house

get started NOW
