KD/DDD/DG: all pretty equall shouldn’t be though they all think they are better than everyone because they are “top”
Phimu/Kappa/chio : pretty much all blonde in kappa all look the same, Phi mostly legacies going down hill each rush, chi o would do so much better if they would take more out of state girls and wouldn’t drop girls because they are from far away or aren’t from jackson
Adpi/piphi : adpi has gotten better since coming here in 2013 the last two years they got really good pledge classes, Pi Phi is honestly coming up no one is expecting it but they got some really amazing girls
Aphi/aopi: aphi is going to blow everyone away in like 2-3 years they keep getting better and better with a lot of out of state
Theta: sorry, but they did get some good girls this year that were dropped because of GPA, not knowing anyone and not being legacies

Meanwhile Theta just keeps to themselves despite everyone bashing them because they've got better things to do than keep up with meaningless ranks and drama. I couldn't stay in after sophomore year bc I decided to study abroad but they've got their priorities straight.

Occasionally check into this site...its honestly hilarious for the most part. I think the OP is dead on...two years in a row the top three had to make tough choices in favor of alumni favorites. when you can only take a limited group there are really great girls that get picked up. My favorite girls I was rushing the last two years have gone DG and Phi Mu, they just were not high enough on my house's list. I love these girls still so much and still talk to them all the time. This tier crap doesnt mean anything, but I can tell you some of the best girls I have ever met are in these two houses.

Most of the PNMs that I know did not get caught up in tiers. Did they have favorites? Sure, but many girls' favorites were not so called "top tier." Therefore, desirability is fluid. In fact, I know girls who ranked top tier sororities second after pref simply because they felt more love from a so called "mid tier." Ranks don't mean too much, especially to OOS girls. It's all about where one finds a home.
