kd dirty rushing -they suck!!!

Ok...yes I am a pnm who was cut by KD. This was a total shock!! I had 2 girls who have been asking me up for game weekends and spring parties since my senior year of HS. Since coming to Ole Miss it's been lots of Texts from KD inviting me out AND asking me to bring my friends. I was also told "you are in girl" , "Everybody here loves you, you have no worries". Oh and my favorite "Even our President loves you"!!
Beware PNMs - if you have KD left wear armor to protect yourself from the stab in the back!!!

If this happened to you (and I am not doubting that it did)- I am VERY SORRY that is really and truly horrible and I can understand you being upset however, don't let them "win". Don't let this make you bitter to the sorority experience- because honestly the best way to make them sorry they cut you is not to post how bitter you are on an anonymous website but rather to go pledge somewhere else and be happy, involved and show them what a mistake it is that you wear someone else letters that you love instead of theres. Living well really is the best revenge.

If you have spent anytime on this site you would understand why everyone warns to not fall into the trap of the top tier worship or putting your hopes on any one sorority. I was recruit by KD last year but I was never promised a bid. I really did like them, but didn't have strong enough connections and was cut after the Philanthropy Rounds. Don't waste time being angry - just regroup and give the other sororities on your list a good look. Stay positive!

She's not a young girl. She's an adult. Getting dumped by KD, no matter what they said or didn't say to her, will not be the worst thing that ever happened in her life.

Yes, it's a game and they ALL play it. It was your mistake by thinking it was that easy. Are you that special that you're better than all the others who want KD, DG, DDD, XO, etc? It's hard and we're all fighting to get somewhere we will be at home. I wish I was at a house right now and I'm not, but I'm not bashing them about it. I have two older sisters & I know how it works. XO girl who DM'd everyone all summer to join her MLM team comments she wants them in IG comments constantly and I know several she's told they're running home to her that XO has cut. DDD told 3 girls on my floor they'd see them and they cut them.
Just like we make everyone think that we want to be with them. Do you really think you'd get very far telling other houses that you only want only a certain house?

@Puhleeze - you're wrong the top three do that being DDD, KD, and ChiO. I think often times the girls doing it really believe what they're saying. Sad but true.

I think because cuts are about to get worse and none of the sororities want one of their few spots taken up by someone who really wants XYZ sorority. I got asked a similar question at ChiO, who I want as second so I just lied!

That's understandable because you would have no reason to think they would be lying, and honestly the persons telling you that may have very well meant it. You will see next year how the process works and you will understand the difficult decisions that have to be made.
